Here comes the Water...AGAIN!

History is really a repetition of events. And this events keeps on every year and yet our government remains blind with the course of nature. And this will continue to take lives until this government of ours has satisfactorily demonstrated that those who have died in a previous disaster has not died in vain.

And now, for severals years already, this area in Araneta Avenue has never changed. How many projects has been announced to solve these floodings in the metropolis, how many budget proposals have been laid that only ends up to some influencial few.
I may sound so rebelious for now but for sure, you may feel what i have felt if you see people's lives are being ruined inspite of the fact that they have already been doing their part as good citizen of their own community.

These people in Araneta and Ma. Clara had already suffered enough for almost a decade, every time the creek overflow, for sure, the water threatens their lives and belongings. Their shanties will be flooded again up to 8 ft deep and children would be prone to
water borne diseases. During rainy season, this is a common scene for them and they are already used to it. They have no plan for relocation since the water can subside fastly whenever the rain stops.
